PORT AGENT - LCT SWANSEA
Swansea port is situated in South-West Wales and provides a vital trade link to Europe and Ireland, as well as passenger and freight ferries to Southern Ireland. LCT Support Services was very pleased to be the official Port Agent in Swansea for Fastnet Line.
LCT in Swansea
LCT Swansea provided the management and staff for passenger and freight check-in, unaccompanied trailer control and other associated port agent services to Fastnet Line, who revived the Swansea to Cork route in March 2010.
The Port of Swansea
The Port of Swansea is situated on the edge of the five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay. Wales' waterfront city lies adjacent to the Gower peninsula, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, featuring dramatic limestone cliffs in contrast to beautiful sandy beaches.
Swansea Ferryport comprises a single berth with passenger facilities and car-marshalling areas, and a 76m linkspan bridge, which can be lowered through 12.95m to allow for variation in tide levels and ships' flotation.
